What is a Soulmate?
When it comes to love you may have heard the term "Soulmate" but what does it really mean? There are different types of Soulmates and they can literally be anyone you meet, not just a romantic partner. Some Soulmates are for seasons and some are for lifetimes or many lifetimes. Soulmates can be your relatives, friends, spouses, and could literally be any living soul there is.
Caution:
Because these connections are so special they usually start off being one extreme or the other. They can begin with worst enemies or instant besties. The mates could seem just alike or complete opposites. Either way these connections can seem intense but once they decide to be together, bystanders may view the mates as inseparable. This may cause others to try and keep Soulmates apart because of the overwhelming intensity of the connection. Unhealed individuals may become jealous of the Soulmate relationship and try to negatively interfere in the connection. Sometimes this negative interference is unconscious and begins at a soul level. Outside parties may not even realize the level of jealousy they have towards a connection because they have not healed from their own soul connections. From a Spiritual view negative forces are initially trying to prevent this connection because of the goodness that can come out of this Divine relationship. But once the Soulmate union has begun only the two can make the choice to part, which depending on the connection, they will likely never part.
Soulmate is generally defined as "a person ideally suited to another as a close friend or romantic partner." Other than being limited to "a person" this definition is a fair depiction of a Soulmate. In terms of "ideally suited" a Soulmate is divinely chosen to match with their counterpart. This person or soul is the ideal connection needed to show "you" who "you" are and help you stay on track to being more of your true self. These connections are anointed in helping mates be their authentic selves and stay true, even in this world.
Much of Soulmates works are unknown to them in the physical world but when they follow their truest feelings it brings fulfillment, especially when done together. This could be why sex can be so pleasurable, because it is done in togetherness. However, sex is not as significant in Soulmate connections as some may think but we will discuss that later. As we mentioned previously, Soulmates are not always romantic connections. Soulmates are those who have been given Divine instructions on how to inspire, encourage and support one another to learn their purpose and follow their calling. The discovery of self brings them both great happiness and they have a deep knowing that they were meant to be happy together.
Although similar, Soulmates may not always have the same calling but they have what it takes to support the other in fulfilling each of their hearts desires. They may have a lot in common but they also can appreciate their many differences. Their bond is so special that even if they must part ways, which most never do, they will always remember one another. This bond is so special it truly is a Spiritual bond.
What you should to know about Soulmate Connections.
What you should know about soulmates is that is has a lot to do with ones DNA. Maybe not as much earthly DNA but your Spiritual DNA. From personality, sense of humor, chemistry and everything about who you are can be found in your DNA, and in this case, the same goes for your Spiritual characteristics as well. Soulmates Spiritual DNA are tied together in a way that their appearance and character can resemble both physically and Spiritually.
Sex and Soulmates:
Too often we limit a Soulmate to Romantic and sexual partnerships, this limitation is not a healthy way to consider this deep soul connection at all. Sex is not the most important part of romance rather, intimacy, oneness and a procreative experience. This can happen with and without a sexual encounter. Though sex is a powerful Spiritual experience, it is often misunderstood and relationships of the soul should be regarded beyond a physical understanding.
Soul ties - Sex should be respected and protected just as one respects other forms of power, always consider who you are sharing your power with or what you are giving your power to.
Use caution when it comes to intimate relationships, the gift of a Soulmate is not just for any "body" but a very Divine calling. It can be tricky to know if you are dealing with a Soulmate because there are so many forms of deception in the world. However, nothing is a mistake so also, whatever you have chosen is always your choice, beyond a basic understanding. Keep in mind Karmic Soulmates also exist and preventing or discontinuing sexual relationships in these connections is advised.

Spiritual Contracts and Soul Ties:
The Soulmate connection is apart of a Spiritual Contract made between two souls before they came to earth. Before these souls entered into the physical world they agreed to meet and help one another find who they truly are. Once coming into this connection in the flesh, consciously or subconsciously these mates were reminded of their true selves. For Soulmates they were reminded of a place of happiness and familiarity. This Soul Contract could have promised something like, I will not forget you but it also stated, you will not let me forget myself. Thus, another reason why Soulmates extend further than just romantic partners. Whoever the Soulmate may be it is also incorrect to extend this title to just anyone and everyone. Soulmates are special Divine bonds.
Soulmates are some of the most positive energies on the earth allowing for an uplifting high vibration of energy and passion. But even some friends and relatives can be toxic individuals or Karmic Soulmates. There are various types of relationships, not so positive energies, some plain negative energies. These people serve a purpose as well but it is important to know how to deal with various energies.
Be mindful of identifying people in the proper place in your life. It can be harmful to ones lesson or truth to identify someone as something they are not. One major point in properly identifying a Soulmate is knowing not to miss opportunities of truth and happiness because of being trapped in lies. Be truthful with yourself about the relationships you are in so that you can become your best self and influence others to become their best selves. Soulmates have the ability to bring the best out of one another and the energies are positive, inspiring and uplifting.
In short, Soulmates are those souls that have followed one another to earth to remind one another of who they are in truth and in Spirit.
How to maintain a healthy Soulmate Connection.
The best way to maintain a healthy Soulmate connection is by supporting one another in finding yourselves as you both evolve. This can only be accomplished by being truthful and believing in one another.
Be sure to always follow your own callings, even if together. You will admire each others individuality along the way. You may even know what each other's calling looks like before you know your own, because you have known from a spiritual place. So, allow one another to help in being your best selves. This could even be a past life connection, so you may be surprised of how much they know about you and how much they help you to be yourself.
Allowing your mate to participate in your life's success will allow them to be more apt to let you share in theirs. Sharing in one another's Spiritual path is a great way to inspire one another. This sharing will ward off feelings of neglect, jealousy, and other negative energy that may try to take you off course.
Remember, Soulmate connections are intended to help one another find their truth. It is important to continue to inspire one another to be true and encourage one another's self love. Soulmates have the incredible ability to live in togetherness as well as promoting individual growth. If you are truly in a Soulmate connection this will come naturally and no one will have to force the experience.
